About Us
Hi, I’m Joseph Serna, owner operator of Joe’s Window Cleaning. I started my company 3 years ago as a means to earn a little extra income. I quickly found that while cleaning windows was the service I offered the real focus of the business is people. Anyone can clean windows but being a great guest in someone’s home is key. This reflects my business philosophy, being respectful of my customers time and property while being efficient and easy to work with.

Our pricing varies depending on many different factors. Window type, size, floor location, terrain and level of cleaning required all come in to play when creating an estimate. How do you charge for commercial properties?
upomCommercial or storefront cleanings are on a different pay scale from residential and are based on a few factors. Commercial contracts are commonly done each month or on some other repeating schedule. In general, the price structure starts at $10 per window and may increase due to factors such as distance from our base of operations, number of stories, external and/or internal cleanings. Again, with a simple consultation we can create a plan that suits your needs.

We accept all forms of payment and are able to take credit cards, Paypal and Venmo. Everyone has had to adapt to the challenges posed by the pandemic and we are no different. While working in or around your home we will be masked at your request and wear shoe covers.

What does your service include?
To give our customers the highest quality clean windows we do more than just clean the glass. We start by removing all screens, scrubbing them with soap and rinsing them to prevent any transfer of soil or debris on to the clean glass. We then brush out any insect activity or dust that may have built up in and around the tracks and vacuum out the sills. We can also scrub the frames to remove moss or other particulates and discolorations.
What additional services do you offer?
As the saying goes, “You can be a jack of all trades or a master of one.” Right now we only offer window cleaning but are always looking to expand in areas that fill a consistent need for our customers.
Do you clean second story windows?
Yes, second story windows can usually be reached from the ground with a ladder or the use of specialized tools.
Do you use chemicals?
Nothing you wouldn’t have in your kitchen. The secret ingredients are dish soap and elbow grease. Dish soap and clean water can take care of most organic debris that dirty your windows. Dishsoap is also safe to use around your pets and plants. With construction or renovation debris like paint flecks or silicone we have many other options that can clean these besides harsh chemicals.
Do you do glass restoration?
To a limited degree, yes, hard water stains on glass can be improved by applying descaling solutions. In extreme cases, acids may be required and that is not a service we offer yet.
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry general liability coverage for both residential and commercial properties.
What if I only need a few windows cleaned?
We have a minimum price of $125 to cover basic operating expenses.
Do you work in the winter?
Many of our commercial clients choose to continue our services through the winter, however, it is not a problem to put our service on hold until the spring. We do not typically undertake residential projects during the winter due to increased hazards such as ice or lack of stable ground. Please try to schedule with us no later then November to make sure we can take care of your window cleaning needs.
